Role Overview: As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you play a crucial role in creating a positive and supportive learning environment for students facing behavioural challenges. Your dedication will contribute to guiding students on the path to success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group behaviour support sessions.
  • Implement tailored strategies to address individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour interventions.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Behaviour Support Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or behavioural sciences would be advantageous.
